1. Member Service Rep

This position is offered in both part-time and full-time roles. Pay rates range from $9.00 to $10.00 per hour. You’ll be working near the front of the gym, greeting new members that walk in and manage the front desk while doing so.

You’ll offer potential members tours of the gym, answer their questions, and ultimately assist them with the onboarding process. During slow times, you’ll help clean equipment and ensure everything is presentable.

2. Overnight Custodian 

This position requires an open availability and calls for a lot of hard work. You will need to lift up to 80 pounds at a time and utilize cleaning solutions to polish up the gym during the off hours. Standing, bending, squatting, and other physical exertions will be expected of you.

The hourly rates for a position like this typically start around $10.00 per hour.

3. Assistant Manager 

If you’re interested in a leadership role, and you can multitask with the best of them, an assistance manager position may be right for you. In this role, you’ll work with the gym’s manager to ensure daily tasks are performed and demonstrate excellent customer service to your other employees.

This type of position comes with a salary ranging from $25,000 to $30,000 per year.
